Babies!

Got your attention, huh? What do babies have to do with cards? Well, here at Spit in the Wind Cards, we’ve got babies on the brain. That’s because Dave and Siobhan’s first child will make her debut on May 1. Well, knowing babies and how they have minds of their own, she’ll make her debut somewhere in the near vicinity of May 1. So, like most parents with their first child, we’ve been obsessed with the baby nursery; and finding just the right stuff for it, including artwork. After scouring baby stores and going partially blind in one eye from cruising the Internet in search of baby artwork, we decided to create a Spit in the Wind line of baby artwork.

Update: Well, as predicted, the baby made an early debut and is now enjoying the Spit in the Wind artwork that hangs in her room. It is one of her favorite pieces; that and a couple of Degas paintings and one Monet print. We are sure that some day Spit in the Wind Cards will employ her as an art critic. Hopefully she will find the Mutton card as entertaining as her mother.
